– (1944) – Siblings stumble upon a manor that’s conveniently up for sale, but quickly discover it’s haunted. The set-up is hard to swallow, but the subplot involving a young woman’s sanity is strong enough to override the shortcomings. A bit too lighthearted, but the ghost aspects are effective.
