– (1999) – An imaginary friend finds his way into a teenage girl’s life, commits pranks she’s blamed for, then helps rescue her brother from a boogeyman. Has a lot going on, and tends to confuse as much as annoy, but this is zany enough to make for an easy watch. A bit too chaotic, but ends on an almost-touching note of growing up. The lead actress ultimately saves the day, as her committal to cheese and drama are equal.
