– (1955) – Godzilla returns to take on a prehistoric opponent, then is forced to contend with human weaponry. Has a stark first half that’s reminiscent of the original, but switches gears to mundane drama before a busy climax. Leans too far toward the bland side, but the F/X and action still manage to impress.
