– (1925) – A conman coaxes Hungarian gypsies into performing fake seances to swindle money from the wealthy. The first third is pretty decent when remaining true to its premise, but after a while the faux medium gimmick is abandoned and bickering characters take over. Begins with involvement, but gradually descends into standard conflict.
