– (2023) – A small group of friends contend with a masked killer who’s picking them off in the name of movie franchises. Well, it’s definitely a Scream sequel. 1. It’s aware of itself. 2. It references prior entries. 3. It has a “shock” reveal at the end. It’s also trite, unsophisticated, and has the worst writing and acting among all entries. A worn out series that’s only getting worse.
