– (1993) – A mild-mannered school teacher and his wife are wrapped up in twisting plots of murder and deceit. Makes the most of a continuously adjusting story, and always involves despite becoming too convoluted for its own good. Has some great moments, but the payoffs aren’t as intriguing as the setups.
