– (2025) – A kid who witnessed the murder of his parents by someone dressed as Santa grows up and lays waste to anyone his subconscious deems naughty. Seems promising at the start, but quickly steers away from remake status to do its own thing with its own rules. Feels more like a desperate attempt at creating a 70’s grindhouse movie than duplicating the 80’s classic, yet the results are ultra-corny and flat out nonsensical. Worst of all? It’s beyond monotonous.
