Camp Blood 2

★½☆☆ – (2000) – A film crew intends to make a movie based on real camp murders, and bring along the only survivor, but find someone else picking them off. As far as zero-budget backyard sequels go, this isn’t the worst, but the story and character angles are missing. Has moments of brutality, but it’s too cheap and drab to consider a success.

★★☆☆ – (2014) – A man dons a clown costume he can’t remove, only to discover he’s wearing demon skin. Has a few innovative moments and spots of dark humor, but drags its feet when it needs to pick up the pace. Ruins its own creativity with too many implausible and predictable moments.

The Devil’s Carnival

Devil's Carnival, The

★☆☆☆ – (2012) – A man searches for his son in a carnival where stories of lost souls are sung. Only 55-minutes long, but still manages to create 55 metric tons of irritation. What little story there is stinks, and the overacted songs all sound the same.

Killjoy Goes to Hell

Killjoy 4

★½☆☆ – (2012) – A murderous clown goes on trial in hell for not committing enough evil deeds. The initial premise is rather clever, and leads to some funny moments, but anything inventive is stretched thin and beaten to death by the midpoint. Despite a busy finale, this is mainly on the dull side.
