– (2023) – A girl who recently lost her parents is provided an android that can mend her sorrow, but they both get a little too attached to one another. More reminiscent of the technical Child’s Play remake than the original killer doll film, but still does enough to stand on its own, notably due to the rather freaky yet sympathetic titular villain. Has a few bizarre moments, as well as some genuine heart and humor, and though it goes the expected route by the end, this most always entertains.
