– (2022) – A video game from the ’80s is causing a player to make grim decisions in the ’20s. Further proof that most horror movies about video games (Brainscan, Stay Alive, Arcade) don’t succeed because the games themselves aren’t particularly noteworthy. Has a lot going on, perhaps too much, yet most occurrences range from somewhat decent to downright laughable. Ugly, convoluted, and far from frightening.
