– (1989) – A woman who’s haunted by a spirit enlists the help of a professor who never got over the death of his wife. Has a slow building mystery that takes a while to become invested in, but the rather grim payoff is worth the wait. Has some goofiness amid the creepiness, but succeeds in telling a ghost story that isn’t always predictable.
