– (1984) – A secret agency tracks down a girl who can start fires with her mind, and mistakingly tries to control her. Faithful to the overall story of the book, but leaves out a ton of character details and ultimately leads to a cold and meaningless experience. By the time the hectic finale rolls around, it’s hard to care about the dead or the survivors.
