– (1954) – Radioactive ants make trouble for police, scientists and the world. The first third is fast paced, funny and action packed, but all of a sudden nothing happens. Central characters head to the background while ant activity is replaced with incessant chatter. Aliens owes this more than a few thanks, but the ultimate boredom isn’t homage-worthy.
