The Dead Zone

★★½☆ – (1983) – A man awakens from a five year coma with the ability to see the future. Gets off to an eerie and involving start, then suffers from squeezing in too many subplots. The serial killer mystery alone would have been enough to carry one film, while the political plot feels excessive. A good time, but the 103-minute length can’t do the whole story justice.
