– (1995) – A man who inherits a castle moves in with the daughter he blinded and a wife who doesn’t like him very much. Steadily involves through atmosphere and emotion, while the gloomy plot fits well with the horror devices. The freak itself offers some gruesome surprises, but there’s an overall sluggishness that sometimes brings the pace to a crawl.
